Monster Island

Monster Island is The Asylum's 2019 mockbuster. Strangely, it was released around the time of Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The movie is about Monster Island, an island where a monster may exist; the monster, if your will, is Monster Island.


As this is a film about an asylum, it has a budget comparable to a large kid's meal and utilizes it lightly, concentrating on a few human characters and filming all of the Monster Island movie review big stars' parts in one location during lunch break. But let's not forget this is a film about kaijus, and that's how they work, so maybe The Asylum won’t do too badly?
